AI and Privacy

How Minikai handles private health information.

Written by Bec Yik

Minikai is built with a privacy-first architecture. Your data is stored and processed in secure Australian data centres that meet Australian and New Zealand privacy requirements, and it is never used to train AI models.

Staff only have access to Minis for the people they're assigned to support. If you support three clients, you'll see three Minis โ€” and nothing else. Admins manage these assignments through groups and can adjust them as roles change. Learn more about roles and permissions โ†’

Chats are private. Your conversations with a Mini aren't visible to other staff. Records you create and submit to the timeline are visible to anyone assigned to that Mini, but the chat itself stays between you and the Mini.

โ„น๏ธ Good to know: Minikai doesn't use your data to train AI models. The information your organisation provides is used only to power the Minis in your workspace. For more on how AI processing works, see How Minikai's AI Works.

For more detail on compliance and certifications, see How Minikai keeps your data safe and compliant. For specifics on how data is handled, visit our Trust Centre.
