Signing in and accessing Minikai

How sign-in works

You access Minikai using a secure account created by your organisation. Each person has their own login so activity can be traced, audited, and managed appropriately.

In most organisations, sign-in works through one of the following:

  • Email and password, passkey or code

  • Single Sign-On (SSO) using your existing work credentials

Once signed in, you only see the information and tools your role allows. This helps ensure people can do their work without being exposed to information they do not need.

If you leave an organisation or change roles, access can be updated or removed without affecting anyone else.

Multi Factor Authentication (MFA)

To protect sensitive information, Minikai supports Multi Factor Authentication.

MFA adds an extra layer of security by asking for a second form of verification after your password. This means that even if a password is compromised, unauthorised access is still blocked.

Your organisation can choose when and how MFA is enforced, depending on their policies and risk settings.

What devices can I use to access Minikai?

Minikai is browser-based, so there is no software to install.

You can access Minikai on:

  • Desktop and laptop computers

  • Tablets

  • Smartphones

As long as you are using a supported, up-to-date web browser and have an internet connection, you can securely access Minikai from your device.

This flexibility supports real-world care work, whether you are in an office, working remotely, or supporting people in the community.
