π Permissions: All users who can access a Mini can view citations β no extra permissions needed. Learn more about roles β
When a Mini responds in chat, it shows you where it found its information. Small citation numbers appear next to the message, linking back to the specific records, files, or forms the Mini drew from. This means you can always trace what the Mini is telling you back to its source β and check for yourself.
When to use citations
You want to verify something the Mini said β especially if it involves dates, medications, or care details
You need to find the original record or document behind a summary
You're reviewing a Mini's response before sharing it with a colleague or family member
How to view citations
Open a chat with your Mini.
Look for the small reference numbers next to the Mini's message.
Click the citations button at the end of the message.
A citation table will open, showing all the documents linked to that message.
Click the arrow on any row to open that record, form, or file and see the full details.
β οΈ Make it a habit to check citations: Citations are how you stay in control. If a Mini's response will inform a care decision, a report, or a communication with a family, take a moment to click through and confirm the source. It only takes a few seconds and keeps you confident in what you're sharing.
βΉοΈ Good to know: If a Mini's response doesn't include citation numbers, it means the response was based on general knowledge rather than a specific record. This can happen when the Mini doesn't yet have enough records to draw from. Learn how to add records β
