Billing

What the Billing page is for, how to manage your plan and payment method, and where to find your invoices.

The Billing page is where you manage your subscription with Minikai. From here you can see your current plan, update your payment method, and view or download your invoices.

Billing opens the Stripe Customer Portal in a new tab. Stripe handles all payment information securely on our behalf.

When to use this

  • You need to update your payment method after a card has expired or a new card has been issued.

  • You want to download an invoice for your records or to pass on to your finance team.

  • You want to check what plan you're on and what's included in it.

  • You're reviewing past invoices to understand a charge.

How it works

The Billing page sits in Workspace Admin alongside Budget and Insights. The three pages cover three different jobs:

  • Billing is for your subscription, payment method, and invoices.

  • Budget is for controlling how much your workspace can spend beyond what's included in your plan.

  • Insights is for seeing who's using the platform.

Billing data is managed by Stripe. When you open the Billing page, you'll be taken to your Stripe Customer Portal, which has been branded with Minikai's logo and colours.

Step 1: Open the Billing page

Go to Workspace Admin β†’ Billing. You'll see a short summary of your current plan and a button to open the Stripe Customer Portal.

Step 2: Manage your subscription in Stripe

In the Stripe Customer Portal you can:

  • View your current plan and the amount included each billing period

  • Add, update, or remove a payment method

  • View, download, or email yourself any past invoice

  • Update your billing email address and contact details

  • Update the tax details that appear on your invoices

Changes you make in Stripe apply straight away and are reflected on your next invoice.

Step 3: Return to Minikai

When you're done in Stripe, close the tab or use your browser's back button to return to the Minikai app.

⚠️ Changing your plan: Plan changes (upgrades, downgrades, cancellations) aren't self-serve in V1. If you'd like to change your plan, talk to your Minikai account manager or message us through the Help Desk.

ℹ️ Good to know: Stripe is our billing partner. They handle all card details and payment processing so that Minikai never sees or stores your payment information directly. You can read more about Stripe's security at stripe.com/docs/security.
